I am doing this post because I’ve grown a lot since August 13, 2014, when I first opened this as a blog for my writing updates only. With summer coming up and my plans for growing this site even farther, I figured it would be a good time to reminisce on my archives and previous 38 blog designs. Because I just got a new one. Again.
When I first started, this was my first post and this was my second post. This was my belief, which really hasn’t changed. Over the months I did random posts and life updates that weren’t necessarily bad, and then I launched my first post series that gave background info on my life. And then in the fall, I began to hate my blog. So I switched to a new platform (I LOVE YOU SQUARESPACE) and redid my blog design. That took only two months to do. No big deal. I didn’t miss anything.
There were a few good posts between those gaps, so make sure you check out my archives page. I’m always updating old content. Oh! After I did another blog design I got to blog while in Florida! And then when I came home, I did another blog design. I have a true problem. No blog that I follow changes their design that many times. I need help. And a life. No, I have a life. I promise. I really do. It’s why I went on a hiatus. Er, something like that…

This was my first ever blog on Blogger. Originally, it was just created until I got a website. This was one of my favorite past designs.
This is a redesign on Blogger. Horrible header. Where’s the dang sparkle in it even?!
My first design when I moved over to Squarespace.
Basically tweaking the above.
I guess the tweaks didn’t work this time.
This was actually a pretty good design, but I went and wrecked it with this next one.
I was trying to pull off an improved version of my first Blogger design. Didn’t work. AT ALL.
Then I kept experimenting. It got worse every time.
And this is now. I didn’t know if I would like this template and I do. Sometimes you have to take risks with design. On another note, don’t hate me if this isn’t how you see it next week. But I really like this template.
Thanks for following along, however long you have been! I try to be different with my blog. I don’t want to be just “another lifestyle blogger”. My goal for this blog ultimately is to reach people, to inspire, and to be unique and inspire creativity. That will always be my goal.
