Well hello people who never read my blog anymore. That’s not your fault, that’s my computer’s.Ā I thought that dumb thing was fixed, and I could finally blog whenever I wanted to. Keyword: thought. So no blog posts have been typed, but now they will be. BECAUSE I FINALLY GOT A NEW ONE! As in, new to me, one that does not stinking beep at me. At least, not currently. Pray for it people. I’m not kidding, the struggle is real.
I really like just having good old life talks. Blogs don’t always have to be full of posts over helpful information – sometimes they can just be real.
So we’re going to get real today. One thing I never got the chance to talk about was that I drove a boat. And nobody died. My mom and I went out with some very nice friends of our family’s and had a fun day on the water. Nobody. Died. That is a miracle. In case you don’t know, I hate driving. In only two years not even I will have to get my permit. Not in a hurry to do that at all.
Oh, but I wouldn’t have driven the boat if I didn’t have a picture, so here you go.
Oh, remember that gravel road? My dad had surgery to get his tonsils out and something in his nose fixed, so my grandparents came down, and I have been making Grandma walk. Unfortunately we are miles and miles away from a dang Casey’s, so we did the next best thing, and that is this awesome road. A lot of these pictures were fails, and at the end I have a life story.
Oh just kidding, we’re talking about that bonfire the other night. Fun times. Okay, here’s what you actually wanted to see.
That was your cue that it only gets dumber from there. My brilliant posing ideas left me stuck in the dang road to die.
Enough of those. Time for a story. Sometimes all the wrong things go wrong, so here’s what you do. Trust God. I know, you probably saw that coming, but it’s true. He has a plan, and remember that we won’t always understand it.
Next, know Him. That helps with the whole solving the problem thing. Suffering is a part of the evil Satan causes, part of this sinful world where free will was given, and bad choices were made. There’s still hope if you trust God. I haven’t ever regretted a decision where I trusted Him. It doesn’t mean He will solve the problem, it means He will help you through it. Don’t get those mixed up.
Finally, you will make it. Keep God first, He’s going to help you through this world, and you’ll be able to look at your problems like…
The sermon is now over, so what next?
I also had another cross country meet, and I was happy my grandparents got to see me run. Where did the season go?! I did good at that one, placed a little behind where I wanted to, but didn’t walk. Then I went and had cheese sticks. And tonight I did better than the last meet and ate a bunch of chips afterwards. So, yeah.
I went for another walk on the gravel road and took lots of pictures, and I am posting them because it’s the other way. You finally get a change of scenery.Ā But first, pictures of the normal way fall style. You can just tell it is becoming fall.
Time for the other way now.
This reminds me of a picture Amanda would take. Thank you Grandma for this sleep walking picture. Hahaha love ya Amanda.
Or this sassy picture.
I was ticked about something.
But now it’s all good I guess.
Next up: more fall and walking pictures.
These are some pics I got out on a walk with Willy one night. They’re obviously iPhone photos, but I’m happy with them, and nothing could spell sweater weather better. Except for maybe if they wrote that in the sky. They did that when we were in Florida, with Jesus + You = :), and it was so cool. In fact, just read about that entire trip here.
Willy slept downstairs with Grandma and me. This picture is just… I don’t know, see for yourself.
Hey look, it’s sweatpants weather. Love this pic my friend Shae got of one of my really good friends and me. It’s so great to have someone at school to talk about God and life with – I can with her.
Breaking news from Walmart: apparently it’s Christmas now. Yeesh, it’s not even close to being Halloween. But I’m not complaining, I loves some Christmas stuff.
You know, you guys are the absolute best for reading this. You’re supposed to be humble when I say that – don’t tell me “you know.” Jeez, cocky people in this world.
Back to… a l l ā¢ t h e ā¢ f a l l ā¢ t h i n g s . Look how pretty I just made that. #talent.
A dang fall donut. That is what I call true fallness. Burger King has black Whoppers now too – and I hope that’s what they’re called. My dad had one, and his #2 was – oh, we’ll move on.
One day Hunter and I went into town with Mom, and while she did her errands we had fun at the park. It’s definitely getting chilly.
We also got our Halloween decorations up! Want to know a tip for making your photos artsy? Zoom in as close as possible.
Dad, Hunter, and Willy have also got some really good hunts in! Willy has been doing OUTSTANDING! He went in the river to retrieve – against the current one time – and more. So thankful to God for that doog.
This picture was taken on the way to church the other night. I’m loving my group and my friend in it! I’ve just stopped worrying about things because again and again God remains faithful.
Just today I got to go up to my grandparents’ for a funeral for my great uncle. Not exactly the best reason, but we have to rejoice that he is in heaven, and pain doesn’t last forever thanks to Jesus. He overcame the world for us. So Mom, does that mean we can get those basketball shoes now? š Just her and I went up, she bought me a McFlurry. My parents are the best – although I need basketball shoes. No just kidding, so thankful for them. Although…I do really need basketball shoes…
All the farming in Iowa…yeesh. Just one field of a dang million. I looked up how many corn fields are in Iowa, and it said about 1.88 billion bushels. Whatever the heck that means. Anyway, that’s a high number.
I also looked through some of my ideas for my next book. Some writing news is about to pour out, people. I’m working with one of my teachers at school on a few contests, and my mom is going to be printing my completed novel, so I can start editing that soon. All glory goes to God – it’s all for Him.
Another good thing was that I’ll get to see my cousin Jacob and a few others. We immediately took Grandma for our required walk to Casey’s. It’s definitely fall, people.
Is that enough fall for you? Well, too bad. I’ll be back anyways. I have a working computer. You guys are the best for sticking with me, so until Monday, see ya later alligators – and yes, you’re alligators. Deal with it.

Ari D ćYes! I think summer is still my favorite, all of the seasons are truly amazing. It’s incredible to see how God made them all.
