Hey everybody. I’m back from the dead. No, just kidding. Or not. Whatever. There are two things I hate doing. One is blogging on the phone. I love Squarespace’s blog app – they do everything right danggit. It’s just not the same, though. And I can’t make my images for each post. More for the to do list. Two is blogging posts that are well, all about me. I just don’t like that. They don’t really have a purpose other than to document memories, and while that’s great, that’s not the focus of my blog. But danggit, broken computers are no joke. I got from school – it’s broken. They’re doing the best they can, but it totally sucks. Homework, blog posts, yeah. It’s been in to get fixed twice. It still freezes and literally beeps at me. I’d like to smash it. Gosh danggit technology.
That is why I have not blogged. That was not my hopes – I had posts all scheduled to write. But in the meantime I got married. Kidding again but it’s been way too long so today we’re going to talk. You have to comment and tell me about your life so this post isn’t all about me. Okay? Good.
My dog loves me. This was when my computer worked once upon a time.
I mainly have just taken lots and lots of pictures of skies and stuff like that. Here I thought I was going to have this huge post but I guess not. Oh, I’m blogging on the computer right now! MY computer! It’s actually working. I’m not sure what to think of that. I find it a little too good to be true, but I guess we’ll see… And it is becoming Fall. I was not so sure with all the hot weather lately but this morning’s cross country practice proved me wrong. Pull out those leggings, good gosh. I think we all have frozen bodies. But really, that was just supposed to be an excuse to show you this photo.
We also had a really nice little weekend up with Gramps and Grams and my cousins. I have some good, good videos taken. ;D But today we’ll just stick with images. I’ll try to limit them. You’re welcome.
Since my life is never complete without a daily photoshoot, we had to do that too. The sky was perfect. The location was perfect. My shirt had pink in it. I. Had. To.
These photos would not exist if it weren’t for Hunter. He actually did something nice for me, but only becausssssssse I offered him a dollar per photo. I was desperate, said no one ever… Also, more pictures below. I don’t know why I am posting them. Just a bunch of sunsets and Grams and me walking. Someone has to get her in shape and I have to get in shape because cross country danggit.
Which, I had my first meet on Tuesday. Thanks to my family for coming out and watching and cheering me on! 🙂 I got 78 out of like, 122, and honestly – I thought I did good because I didn’t walk, I actually felt pretty good, and so on and you already saw this on Instagram so I am sorry. Next week’s goals are getting into the 60’s, getting into the nine minute time zone, and doing a better kick at the end. I kicked too early this time.
Oh yeah, those pictures.
Now I have more sunset pictures, as if I haven’t already showed you enough. Oh, the agony… Okay, so we’re going to make this fun. I am going to go on websites with lists of topics, take the numbers and put them into random.org and it will give me a number of the topic I should talk about between each topic. Ready set go.
I love how this isn’t a sunset picture. But they will come.
Places- Oh yay! This is a good way to bring up that next year my family is going to Canada! We’ll be going with a friend of my dad’s and his son and do lots of fishing and other things that I will have to come up with since there’s no internet. At all… I am seriously concerned for my future.
Food- Ohhhh myyyy goshhhh. I am so worried about growing up. That may sound like the dumbest thing ever but I don’t know how to drive, how to get stinking gas, let alone COOK… I don’t know how to cook anything! ;D And I don’t have any healthy foods that I like except Subway. And like I really can have Subway every day. I mean, food is just a depressing topic for me.
Classes- School is going good so far. My computer has worked the whole night, on hard surfaces and my lap, without freezing or beeping at me. I think they actually got it fixed, so that’s just perfect. On to classes. Yep. School is good. I like my teachers. I’m caught up with everything. I finally have an operating computer. Yay life.
Me- The topic was how I personalize stuff or whatever but I’m pretty sure you all know pink and sparkles is my game. I should actually tell you stuff I don’t know. Let’s do three random facts: one thing you just don’t know, one hidden talent, and one embarrassing. 1) I like hockey, 2) I can spell anything almost, 3) whenever I am reading something online I just keep clicking over the paragraph and highlighting it. I have no dang clue why, it’s the most dumbest habit I’ve gotten into and I can’t get out of it.
Stuff I Have Made Myself- A whole 60k word novel. Sparkles by Ashlee. That’s literally it.
Oh hey, we’re done with sunset pictures danggit. This was actually getting fun. I’m not done with talking though. This picture would represent Mom and me on our way to church the other night. We’re trying a new church and we love it. The people are amazing and it’s actually fun. So at my little group last night I met a girl my age who is the sweetest and church is just the best.
A few more pictures of geese and Fall and so I will do more of those random topics to conclude our talking date.
Dream Vacation- Punta Cana, oh my gosh. Norway seems awesome. Hollywood sounds like a blast. Great Wolf Lodge looks like paradise. Let’s go back to Discovery Cove. Have you seen Rio de Janeiro? Australia would be fun. Paris obviously. I want to go everywhere honestly. Who wants to come with?
Questions About Life and How it Works- Honestly, none. I believe in God and I’ve seen the evidence behind Him. I’m reading Lee Strobel’s “The Case for Faith” and it’s awesome.
Recording Your Life, How Do You Do It- Through the most random pointless blog posts like these. That’s what I’m trying to do here if you haven’t caught on.
Role Models- Sadie Robertson has some pretty great messages for girls. Karen Kingsbury and Kelsey Kupecky and her husband Kyle wrote and amazing new book I just finished. I so admire Lisa Schroeder and her determination and bravery in her writing, that and her books are always great. My mom’s faith. My dad’s outlook on life. So much more.
Writing Books- Oh how funny this is a topic. My mom needs to print my book. She’ll get to it one of these days. And one of these days I’ll actually pick a new idea to write about.
And now, a super low quality pic just because. Thank you bunches for joining me in our talk. Answer these questions below.
Where are you traveling soon? Oh, leave me food tips. I’m hopeless. Now tell me about your school/job because that stuff is interesting to me. And now I want to know three random facts about you. And stuff you have made so I can check it out. Where do you want to travel? Do you have any questions about God or life or whatever? I can maybe answer them, I haven’t been reading books that make my mind blow up for nothing. Oh, and how do you record your life? I know we’re not all bloggers. And if you are – I want to see your blog so I can stalk you. Now I just want to know who your role models are and if you’re going to write a book.
Feel free to answer all or none. Preferably the first. I don’t care, just tell me about your life because world’s best stalker resides over here. 😉
