Spring Break & Everything Else

I'm a little late on this, but happy spring break! Not. Okay, okay. Really, though. I'm curious to see what you all did for spring break. I abandoned my parents and went up to my Grandpa and Grandma's for a week. I always have a great time there and to be honest, it's giving me a lot of inspiration for this new series I plan to write once my current book is perfected. So here's what I did.

I spent a lot of time outside riding bikes, going for walks, and playing basketball.

We went to Walmart and I got a new pair of capris, and two new pairs of shorts for under $30. Then we went to Dairy Queen and it was heaven on earth.

One night I got to go eat out, just Grandma and me. Good chats and good times. And good food, too.

I got to have a lot of good FaceTime chats with my family, and I made sure to stay up to date with my dog!

Between the swimming and library trips we also ate out at Hardee's with a friend of Grandma's.

I also made sure I caught up with you guys too since it's been forever! I've also been making some design tweaks (as usual).

And when I got home our local heavenly place opened up and I had some of these.

While I was there, I made a lot of memories and got some good inspiration for a new series to write. The night before I had to leave, Grandma and I watched a movie. One of those deep movies that makes you think about life and all that, thoughts that will definitely be put into these books.

I've also been working on my blog, getting it in the summer spirit! More like getting it in tip top shape so that I will actually be motivated to blog during the summer. We'll get there eventually.

In the meantime, preparation for Florida has begun. My brother will be using his wish for a weeklong trip in Florida at Discovery Cove (plus way more fun, superexciting things) and I can't wait! It's a big trip though, and everything is sort of coming along...ha...

What are your plans for the summer?
What did you do over spring break?
